CBSE RESULTS – 2020 AND CAREER IN AGRICULTURE

All students those appeared for class 12 exams and want to make agriculture as their career and want to take admission in higher education has to understand that this year they have to face new challenges.  As most of the agricultural universities take a student in their colleges as per their marks received in school education it is very important to know methodology adopted by CBSE board for awarding marks for remaining and non conducted subjects which canceled due to COVID-19 and how you can access and download your certificates Through Digilocker App, Umang Appand to get admission in agricultural colleges and universities.

Around 4 million students participated in CBSE exams for 2020. The exam result will be declared by 15th July 2020.

Let’s talk about it

Ist situation

Those students who have given all CBSE exams will get marks as per their performance in each subject. Their exam marks sheet will be made as to the previous year and according to their performance in each subject.

2nd situation

If in case students given exams for more than 3 subjects

The average marks they got in the best of three subjects will be awarded in the subjects for which the exam has not been conducted.

For Example, if a student has received the following marks in the subject for which exam conducted.

1.    English –      92

2.    Psychology – 90

3.    Political Science -94

4.    Physical Education- 91

And suppose sociology subject is left for which CBSE could not conduct exam than the student will get the following marks in Sociology Subject:

In sociology Subject student  will get  Average marks of best of 3 subjects i.e.  Political Science -94 + English -92 + Physical Education -91 = 277/3 = 92.33

So total marks will be awarded to the student for Sociology subject will be = 92.33

3rd Situation

If In case students only appeared for 3 subjects than average marks of the best 2 subjects will be awarded to students for the subjects for which exams were not conducted.

For example, you have given the exam of 3 subjects and obtained the following marks:

    1. English              – 92

    2. Psychology          90

    3. Political Science – 94

Suppose Subjects for which no exam is done

Sociology and Physical education

In this situation, the student will get the following marks in Sociology and Physical Education

Calculation – Average marks of best of two subject – Political Science -94 + English -92 =186/2=93

So the following marks will be given for the following subjects:

1.  Sociology – 93

 2. Physical education – 93

4th Situation

In case the student could give only two or one subject exams then there marks will be based on their performance in board exams and pending subjects for which they couldn’t give exam will be assessed as per internal marks provided by his / her school.

For students coming under 4th situation will be allowed to give again exam if they are not satisfied with the results for internal marking of school. But chances of happening near future are very minimum and it may be conducted end of this year or next year.

How to access the result of class 10 and class 12

Student can see their Exam result In two ways

1.    Indian Government Digilocker App

2.    Umang app

 Through Digilocker

Any student who wants to see their exam marks sheet has to download the DigiLocker app on their mobile.

CBSE has already started sending SMSes to appeared students, advising them to download the Digilocker app at the earliest so that they can get immediate and easy access to marks sheet whenever the results of these exams declared.

As my one child is also appearing for class 12 exams we have also received these messages.

According to SMS messages, you have to Download the Digilocker app from play store or directly from the link provided by CBSE on your SMS. You can also get access it through the Government of India site which is https://getapp.digilocker.gov.in for getting access to class 10 and 12 marks sheet.

How to use DigiLockerapp

1.    Go to play store

2.    Download Digi locker app

3.    For using this Digi locker, use the mobile number which you have registered during the CBSE board exam. This is the same mobile number, in which you have received SMS from the Central board of secondary education.

4.    You will receive a one-time password on your mobile.

5.    Put six-digit security PIN.

Security PIN is the last 6 digit of your roll number.

Down load is now complete. Now you have access to your marks sheet. You can view it as well as download it.

How to Use UMANG App for accessing CBSE result

Umang is an App that serves as a portal for providing Government services to its citizens.

UMANG the application also serves as a portal for providing information about government schemes while integrating several services like Aadhaar and DigiLocker.

How to download mark sheet using UMANG app:
